Lucy Frazer Appointed as Housing Minister

Yesterday, Chris Beedel Head of Government Advocacy and John Agnew GGF Group Managing Director, attended the annual policy conference for the ‘Federation Of Master Builders’ where they were delighted to meet and chat with the newly appointed The Rt Hon Lucy Frazer KC MP, Minister for Housing.

Chris said “The FMB hosted an excellent conference ‘Building For Success’, which covered a number of the topics that align with the GGFs views such as zero VAT, skills and resources and Net Zero.”

“It was great to meet Lucy on her first day in post and to introduce her to the GGF.  We will shortly be engaging with Lucy about how the glazing industry can assist the Government in achieving its Net Zero agenda.” said John.

Frazer, 50 from Yorkshire, has previously been a minister of state at the Department for Transport from 7 September to 26 October, and was financial secretary to the Treasury from 16 September to 7 September 2022.
