BEIS UKCA Survey – Your views are needed!

As you will be aware from previous communications the recognition of CE marking for goods placed on the UK market is due to end on 31^st December this year and we are in a transition period to UKCA marking.

The GGF has been asked by Government to circulate to Members this notification from the Department of Business Energy Industrial Strategy (BEIS) concerning a short survey on conformity marking.

BEIS is gathering information on awareness and implementation of UKCA requirements and to identify any obstacles businesses are facing to implement the requirements by 1^st January 2022.

According to BEIS the survey is intended for businesses that manufacture, import, and/or distribute products that require a CE or UKCA marking and should take less than 10 minutes to complete.

The survey deadline is 9.00am on 5^th July.

We hope as many GGF Members as possible that are affected by conformity marking will submit a response to help the Government with their policy decisions.
