GGF Wins G16 Excellence Award

It was a special evening for the GGF at the G16 Awards with the Federation winning its first ever G-Award in front of almost 700 guests attending the Gala Dinner at Park Lane Hilton, the prestigious venue that has now become the home of the awards.

The GGF were finalists in two categories, for “Best Customer Care Initiative” and “Best Retail Promotional Campaign” but it was “The Derek Bonnard Award for Excellence for Continually Providing Outstanding Services to the Glass and Glazing Industry” that the GGF won much to the surprise and delight of many guests.

James Lee, GGF Director of Marketing and Communications was accompanied on stage by Brian Smith GGF Director of Home Improvement and Membership and Brian Baker, GGF Immediate Past President, to accept the award presented by Andy Jones, Sales and Marketing Director of the Synseal Group.

James commented, “It was a great honour to accept this industry award on behalf of the GGF. All at the GGF and all our Members should take pride in this recognition, which I feel is deserved, given the scope and consistency of our work.”

Brian Baker added, “Congratulations to all the staff at the GGF for this award. It truly reflects all of the great work and service the GGF Staff supplies to Members and the industry.”

Nigel Rees, GGF Chief Executive couldn’t attend the event but expressed his delight for the GGF Staff saying, “I would like to take this opportunity to congratulate every Member of Staff and thank them for their incredible efforts over the last twelve months. The Federation is moving forward and certainly heading in the right direction and that is down, in the main, to all the efforts of our staff.”
