Last week the GGF launched a new Safe Guide for Homeowners who are employing home improvement companies during the COVID-19 crisis.

The GGF is now making the print-ready files of this publication available to all Members who want to print copies and give to their customers.

James Lee, Director of External Affairs commented, “Though the digital version is the safest way to communicate the guidance to consumers, there are some who may want to communicate via printed materials. The GGF is pleased to make this option available to Members to ensure that their customers are aware of the safety measures being taken and also that companies are providing homeowners with the safe guidance when employing companies to work in their homes.”

COVID-19 virus can survive on paper, so if you do decide to print and distribute, please check your printers and distributors are carrying out safety measures when handling the printed materials. If mailing the guides to consumers, the virus is unlikely to spread. According to the World Health Organisation (WHO), studies show the virus survives less than 24 hours on paper and cardboard.
