GGF SETS BIG PLANS FOR THE FIT SHOW

The GGF will be making the most of the late opening hours on Tuesday 23rd May, hosting its 40th year anniversary celebrations featuring live music, entertainment, free canapés and drinks from 4.30pm and all The FIT Show attendees are invited to join.

James Lee, Director of Marketing and Communications commented “Our stand at the FIT Show will reflect our 40th anniversary year with stunning graphics taken from the historic timeline we’ve recently installed at our London head office. At The FIT Show our Members will also be invited to take full advantage of the hospitality in our special ‘Life Begins at 40’ Members lounge.”

GGF SEMINARS AT THE FIT SHOW

As well as exhibiting the GGF’s history and presenting the benefits of Membership from their anniversary themed stand at The FIT Show, the GGF will also be presenting at the show’s seminar programme with three very topical presentations from the GGF’s experts in home improvement, technical and health and safety as outlined below:

Resolving disputes with consumers can often be a nightmare, Brian Smith, Director of GGF Home Improvement explains how the GGF’s conciliation process can turn a nightmare into a dream.

24 May (12.10-12.40) – A Guide to Glazing in Conservation Areas

An insightful presentation by Russell Day, GGF Technical Officer on installing glazing in conservation areas. This presentation covers the planning framework, the process with local planning officers and the work the GGF Heritage Window Group is doing to change hearts and minds on an issue that’s costing installers millions of pounds each year.

25 May (11.30-12.00) – Accidents will happen! But why risk it? 

GGF Director of Health and Safety Phil Pinnington shows why more company directors are being fined and in some cases imprisoned for negligence. Phil advises how companies can easily avoid the worst case scenarios!
