The GGF is pleased to announce that the London and South East Annual Society Golf Day Tournament has been arranged for Tuesday 9 July 2019.  All GGF Members across the UK are welcome to attend and compete for what is one of the highlights in the GGF sporting calendar.

This year’s event will take place at:
The Tudor Park Marriot Hotel & Country Club
Ashford Road, Bearsted,
Maidstone, Kent
ME14 4NQ

The exciting and enjoyable day starts with the morning’s play, which will be over 9 holes for the Preedy Glass Trophy (Best Greensome Pairs Score).
In the afternoon Members will be playing for the Pilkington Cup (Best Individual Stableford Score).
In addition, there are “Closest to the Pin” and “Longest Drive” Competitions. Also in the afternoon the “over 55’s” will be playing for the Albert Mitchell Trophy.

Schedule

08.00: Registration, coffee/ tea and bacon rolls
09.00: 1^st Tee-morning round (9 holes)
11.30: approximately – Lunch (rolling basis)
13.00: 1^st Tee- afternoon round (18 holes)

Complimentary driving range tokens will be offered for all participants using the driving range during the event.
This year’s event costs only £85 plus VAT per person (non-players £40 plus VAT per person). As with last year, there will be no hidden extras. The fee will cover for the kitty, prizes and staff gratuities.
Event organiser, Peter Stuttard is looking forward to running another great day of golfing but advises Members to make sure their place is booked.
“This event is usually one of the best attended of all the GGF golf days. I would encourage all Members who wish to attend and/or compete to book early to avoid disappointment.”
Members who wish to stay overnight can enjoy a special preferential GGF Members’ rate (£99 single occupancy and £109 double occupancy, the rates include bed and breakfast) on the nights of 8^th and 9^th of July.
