TrustMark Companies Enjoy Increased Online Interest

From January to the end of April this year, window and conservatory installers received over 192,000 hits on the Trustmark website from homeowners looking to replace windows and doors, or who want a conservatory installed.

Trustmark is proving to be a valuable source of leads for GGF members, as consumers look for reputable companies that are effectively government endorsed.

Web statistics obtained from Trustmark show solid year on year growth, with the year to date figures showing an increase of over 17%.

TrustMark is a not for profit organisation supported by government, the building industry, retailers and consumer protection groups. GGF members, who are registered with Trustmark, pay £120 per year to be included in all Trustmark marketing and promotional activities as well as the companies being listed on the Trustmark website.

“Trustmark is now well established in the area of consumer protection and is recognised by consumer organisations as a root to access a trusted trader,” Nigel Rees, Chief Executive of GGF said. “GGF was a founder member of Trustmark and has been very active in ensuring that its aims meet the requirements of this sector.”

With current financial restraints on consumer organisations the activities of Trustmark are gaining higher profile with trading standard organisations and others at local authority level, as well as consumers themselves, as it is not reliant on government funding for support.
