What is the GGF?

The Glass and Glazing Federation (GGF) is a trade association that represents companies who install over 60%, by Turnover, of all Glazing work. They work to raise standards within the industry. The GGF provides approved members with the support and knowledge they need to secure business in the glass and glazing industry. Homeowners who employ a GGF member to carry out work at their property can also be safe in the knowledge that they are able to invest in the very best that the industry has to offer.

What protection do I get from the GGF?

How long has the GGF been going?

The Federation was formed in January 1977 by the amalgamation of a number of Glass related Trade Associations. Some of these had been in existence since the mid-Eighteenth Century.

Are all members credible businesses?

Most definitely. In order to become a member of the GGF, companies have to prove to us that the products and services they provide are of the upmost quality. Companies must have been trading for at least three years, be prepared to comply with our ‘Code of Good Practice’ and we visit their premises to ensure that all aspects of their business and their accounts are in good order. Even when membership is attained, we continually monitor their performance.
